Xeres vinegar is a dark brown liquid with a woody smell and a flavor rich in notes of walnut and Madeira. Vinegar is a product obtained exclusively through the double alcoholic and acetic fermentation process of liquids or other agricultural substances. It is registered in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications under the name "Vinaigre de Jerez (AOP)". Madeira, this fortified wine from Portugal, owes its name to its place of production: the archipelago of Madeira. This wine was fortified with alcohol by mutage, thus contributing a sweet taste to Xeres vinegar. Imported from Andalusia, in the south of Spain, this product can be used to prepare delicious sauces after deglazing the cooking juices from meat or vegetables.
