The trimoline erstein consists equally of fructose and glucose derived from the hydrolysis of sucrose. this syrup of invert sugar, partially crystallized, is obtained by total hydrolysis of sucrose. its high dry substance and the presence of micro crystals confer it a pasty appearance.
