Tapenade is an old Provençal recipe. The word "Tapeno," in Provençal, means caper. It is a purée of black olives, mixed with capers, and depending on the region, anchovies. Ours is made with carefully selected ingredients for their taste qualities.

It can be used on toast as an appetizer (preferably buttered), or as a culinary ingredient for meats, fish, pasta, omelets, and puff pastries.
