Maldon Salt - 250G

Maldon is a very old town in the county of Essex in easternEngland. Maldon salt is astonishingly white and has a "snowflake" appearance. It is obtained by heating seawater in large vats to evaporate it until the salt precipitates. It is this treatment that gives it an interesting flake structure and a fairly light consistency. Its taste is much more iodized than Guérande sea salt (fleur de sel). This high-quality salt enhances all dishes. It can be used for cooking vegetables and starchy foods. You can also sprinkle salads, sauces, grilled meats, and fish with this salt, which will add a refined touch to your cooking. A tomato with Maldon salt is a real delight! Use Maldon salt in smaller quantities than regular salt.
