2024 Vintage Sardines La Bretonne - 115g

The work of Flore Betty, a painter from Douarnenez, elevates the vintage 2024 sardines and pays homage to the centenary of the 1924 sardine workers' strike. The illustration depicts a woman wearing a traditional Breton headdress, symbolizing those who worked in the factories, against a backdrop of sheet music from a song of that era.

These tins are produced in a limited series to delight collectors, during the summer fishing season. The sardines are selected from the finest catches, sourced from environmentally friendly fishing practices, landed in Breton ports, and canned on the same day they are caught at our factory in Douarnenez, to ensure impeccable quality. They are prepared using traditional methods, employing entirely manual craftsmanship.
