Green Split Peas - 1Kg

Green split peas are perfectly round. They have no odor or taste foreign to the product. Rich in carbohydrates, proteins, mineral salts, and fiber, split peas are pulses derived from a variety of round peas harvested at maturity. Widely used in Indian cuisine, split peas are made into Dhal or patties, seasoned with spices like curry. Bissara, a very famous velvety soup in Morocco, cannot be made without split peas, just like pork stew. In purée, soup, or whole, this product is a delight and will happily warm up your winter evenings! It is best not to soak them before cooking them with a bouquet garni, in salted water, for 20 to 40 minutes.
