Whole piquillo peppers have an intact flavor due to their preparation, characteristic of the pepper. Dark red and small, they can be used in many recipes. For a side dish, you can heat them in a pan over low heat with a little sugar, Modena vinegar, salt, and virgin olive oil until the sauce thickens and caramelizes. You can also enjoy our peppers raw, with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of salt, and finely chopped garlic. They are a great accompaniment for meat, potato tortilla, and fatty fish. Their preparation as a garnish is very popular.
