Green Lentils - 1Kg

Anicia green lentils benefit from a microclimate that gives them a unique character. These small, flat, round seedshave thin skin and a non-floury kernel. Rich in iron and vegetable protein, they have a dark green color with dark green/blue marbling. To get the most out of this product, do not soak them during preparation; simply rinse them in cold water. For traditional cooking, use four times their volume of water and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, or for a pressure cooker, use 1.5 times their volume of water and cook for 7 to 10 minutes. Salt and drain before serving or finishing your preparations. Green lentils promise many wonderful recipes such as bacon and thyme soup, lentils in red wine sauce, pork hock, salmon with lentils, and best of all, warm foie gras accompanied by creamedlentils.
