Coconut Cream - 1L

Coconut milk is very rich in lipids, which gives a creaminess and sweetness to the dishes it is added to. This creamy liquid with a mild flavor is typical of coconut, obtained by grinding the pulp of ripe coconut. Coconut has many medicinal virtues; it is rich in iron, potassium, and phosphorus. For centuries, coconut milk has been used in India and Asia as commonly as cow's milk is used in our regions. It is thus used in many savory and sweet dishes; it is also used to bind sauces and has many other uses. We gladly borrow from our Asian neighbors their delicious recipes based on coconut cream. Chicken with coconut and curry is the most famous example!
