These fine gherkins are grown, hand-picked and packaged in Chemilly-sur-Yonne. With its firm and crunchy texture and its tangy and aromatic flavour, the gherkin is a highly appreciated product for aperitifs. It also acts as a flavour enhancer, bringing out the taste of the foods it accompanies. It is mainly served with cold cuts, terrines or pâtés, cold meats such as roast pork or beef, for example. It is also perfect cut into thin slices in a sandwich! It can finally be sliced and incorporated into all kinds of salads, as is the case for Salade Piémontaise.
