The duck confit contains 4 Toupin duck legs surrounded by solid, yellow duck fat. Raised in small batches of 400 ducks on average on large grassy runs, the Barthouil ducks are then force-fed whole corn kernels for 14 days. The carving is done "cold" to achieve a beautiful power and a good length on the palate. When tasting the Toupin 4-leg duck confit, you will feel the full maturity of the meat of these ducks. Ready to use, simply immerse the jar in hot water to melt the fat and remove the duck pieces more easily. In a hot pan, grill skin side down, then reheat meat side up. Finally, accompany the legs with sautéed potatoes or green beans cooked in duck fat. Enjoy your meal!
