1 x "R" de Ruinart:
40% Chardonnay, 57% Pinot Noir and 3% Pinot Meunier. Including 20 to 25% reserve wines from the previous two years.
The color is pale gold with a beautiful brilliance. The bubbles are fine.
The nose is delicate, discreet. White flower is dominant.
The palate is like the nose: discreet. Finesse and elegance perfectly summarize this no-frills champagne.
Food and wine pairings: A savory appetizer without too many "strong" products would be perfect.
1 x Ruinart Blanc de Blancs:
100% Chardonnay including 20 to 25% reserve wines from the previous two years.
The color is fine gold with a beautiful brilliance. The bubbles are very fine.
The nose is fresh, carried by beautiful notes of white flowers, then white/yellow fruits (peaches, nectarines, apricots...).
The palate is full and vinous, typical of Blanc de Blancs, while remaining elegantly discreet.
Food and wine pairings: It will be perfect with white fish or with foie gras for originality. It will be perfectly suitable for all types of appetizers.
1 x Ruinart Rosé:
45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir. 18/19% vinified as red wine, 20 to 25% reserve wines from the previous two years.
The color is garnet tending towards orange. The bubbles are more imposing than its counterparts but remain beautifully fine.
The nose is dominated by small red fruits; with a careful sniff, we can find pomegranate, lychee, or even guava.
The palate is subtle but with character: strength and elegance.
Food and wine pairings: simple appetizer or sophisticated dish based on shellfish (cooked shrimp or crab). A dessert featuring the aforementioned fruits on the nose will also be a more than pleasant pairing.
