Casareccia No. 88 - 500G

Casareccia pasta originated in Sicily but is also typical of other regions in southern Italy.

Shaped like a small parchment, rolled on itself and curved towards the tip, its name evokes the ancient origin of homemade pasta, an interpretation of "busiata pasta," an Arab derivation obtained by rolling pieces of pasta around the stem of a plant.

Casareccia is particularly enjoyed with a classic Bolognese sauce, even though its smooth and delicately porous surface provides a perfect base for all sauces, from traditional to simpler ones.
