Ingredients

Sugar, WHEAT flour, free-range chicken EGGS and EGG whites (34%), colouring: carmines, raising agent: ammonium carbonates, natural vanilla flavouring.

The original recipe.

A delicate blend of eggs, sugar and flour, the dough, flavored with vanilla (natural vanilla flavoring) and lightly tinted with natural carmine food coloring, is baked twice. The biscuit is sprinkled with icing sugar before baking.

It is the originality of this recipe, unchanged for over 300 years, that gives the Biscuit Rose the particularity of not falling apart when dipped in a glass of red wine or a flute of champagne.

Praised by great chefs and creative cooking enthusiasts alike, the Biscuit Rose can be enjoyed on its own or with other dishes, as an ingredient, or as a decoration for charlottes and other cakes.
