Timur berries are harvested between September and October, in the Mahabharat mountain range, in the Terai region, in Eastern Nepal. Following the ancestral know-how of the local inhabitants, they are sun-dried (the pericarp is removed). Popular in Nepal, Timur berries are used in both dishes and tea recipes. On the nose, their scent is reminiscent of grapefruit; on the palate, the flavor is floral and fruity.
