Médelys sweet almond powder comes from varieties of the "Prunus Amygdalus L" almond tree. The blanched and shelled almonds are ground into powder using a mechanical process. The result is a fine, homogeneous powder, creamy white to ivory in color. Its slightly pasty texture in the mouth releases a characteristic almond flavor and aroma. There is no bitterness or rancid taste.
